Goh Jia -Ting, a seafood dinning experience from The China Gate Group has now opened their newest restaurant as a tribute to Chef Ricky Goh. After decades of success with over 20 restaurants in Mumbai, Goh Jia -Ting, is expected to draw in an equally charming crowd in with it’s sophisticated ambiance and seasonal coastal sea food cuisine.

In 1996 our director an aspiring entrepreneur Mr Krishna Tamang crossed paths with Chef Ricky Goh (extremely popular for his skills in Malaysia) known for his culinary genius and warm heart. Touched by Chef’s culinary expertise and Mr Krishna’s business sense, together they turned Mr Krishna’s dream into reality by establishing brands like Global Fusion, Hometown Cafe and Tap.

Tragically, Chef Ricky Go passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a void in the culinary world.

In honour of their friendship Mr Krishna along with Chef Stephan from Malaysia trained under Chef Ricky Goh decided to open a restaurant as a tribute to Chef Ricky Goh’s legacy. The establishment bares Chef Ricky Goh’s name and will showcase his signature dishes. It is going to be a haven for food enthusiasts, a place where Chef Ricky Goh’s spirit lived on through the delectable creations and warm atmosphere, immortalized in the aroma of exquisite dishes and the warmth of shared moments.
